Barbara Dunn joined Paterson Habitat for Humanity as its Executive Director 25 years ago. She has overseen the expansion of this non-profit organization's mission from building individual homes for low-income families to revitalizing entire urban neighborhoods. Ms. Dunn is a member of the US Council of Habitat for Humanity International and also serves on the Council’s Finance/Resource Development and Disciplinary Committees. In the past she was a board member as well as the Vice President of the Housing and Community Development Network of NJ’s Board and continues locally as a member of the Network’s Passaic County A-Team which works on public policy advocacy issues in the area of housing and community development. She is a Commissioner on the Passaic County Brownfields Commission and serves as the Chair of the City of Paterson’s Environmental Revitalization Committee (PERC) which manages the NJDEP Brownfields Development Area grant for the Great Falls/Historic district in Paterson.
